Guess not working out all week and having an extremely lazy weekend with not eating till 3pm today was a bad idea. Maybe next time. Sun, 12 Jun 2011 06:00:00 Sun, Jun 05, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-05-2011.html
Mo wanted to go for a bike ride today. I was hesitant at first cause the 34 miles I did last week kicked my butt, but I wanted him to see the town also. We took it a lot easier than last week and it wasn't that bad. Beautiful day and scenery again. Love this town! :)

Sun, 05 Jun 2011 06:00:00 Thu, Jun 02, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-02-2011.html
Another 30 min on the elliptical today. Set it on Mountain intervals so it went from 30 resistance with 6 incline to 25 resistance with 16 incline. Knee didn't feel a thing, so I think I'm just going to keep this up for awhile till it heals all the way and maybe get it stronger at the same time! :)

Thu, 02 Jun 2011 06:00:00 Wed, Jun 01, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-06-01-2011.html 30 min on the elliptical with it doing mnt setting. It was between 30-45 adding incline as it went. It felt good and I finally started to sweat the last 10 minutes. My watch died about 3 minutes into it so I wasn't able to log it. On a side note I was watching the NHL Finals and heard the city explode when they one! lol Wed, 01 Jun 2011 06:00:00 Sun, May 29, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-29-2011.html
Allen and I decided to rent some bikes and ride around the park and city of Vancouver BC today! I have to say I really need this cross training. I have come to realize that my thighs are really weak and that could be part of why I keep injuring my knee. Still managed to get in almost 34 miles today and saw a lot of breath taking sites! :)

Sun, 29 May 2011 06:00:00 Sat, May 28, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-28-2011.html
Allen and I decided to take a tour around Vancouver today. We only ran about 1.5 miles of it due to my knee, but still had a good time. My GPS wouldn't get location until about .3 miles and 6 minutes in so it's a little off. All and all we did a total of 11 miles today, not to shabby after the 13 miles I did last saturday! :) Walking along the water wall was very scenic, sometimes it pays to travel!

<iframe width='465' height='548' frameborder='0' src='http://connect.garmin.com:80/activity/embed/88582368'></iframe>
Sat, 28 May 2011 06:00:00 Thu, May 26, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-26-2011.html

It was raining a lot here so I decided to just try out the elliptical also since my knee was sore from the race still. Well after about 27 minutes on the elliptical I was beat and was limping back to my room. I thought the elliptical was supposed to be easier on your body, my knee must really be jacked up!

Thu, 26 May 2011 06:00:00 Mon, May 23, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-23-2011.html Went and played golf today at 4 Lakes again. We just did the par3 course since it had been a few weeks. I managed to beat derek by 2 strokes. I think he shot a 39 to my 38. It was nice to get out. I forgot to turn on my garmin to track our miles. So I decided just to stay by my GF Jessi's side the whole race and give her moral support. She did awesome for not really training this year also. I can not wait till I get healed up and can try for a sub 2 hour 1/2. :)

Sat, 21 May 2011 06:00:00 Sun, May 15, 2011 http://dkrieger.fastrunningblog.com/blog-05-15-2011.html
So since my knee is still acting up and we could not stand letting Central Park look at us Allen, Mo and I rented some bikes and rode around central park 3 times! I went to grab my garmin to track my heart and miles and realized it was dead so I had to use my iphone and Motion X GPS program to track it. It only lost GPS for about 1 mile on the last lap so it logged a total of 19.7 miles. It really kicked up butt on the uphills and made me realize how weak my legs really are and that could be the key problem to my knee problems. We still enjoyed every minute of it and I can't wait till I am healed up. :)

http://maps.google.com/?t=p&z=15&ll=40.767385%2C-73.983190&q=http%3A%2F%2Fshare.gps.motionxlive.com%2Fshr%2Fx%2Fkmz%2F22c8eb1584348a29b74453a1a15b3c28

Sun, 15 May 2011 06:00:00
