Fastest 5k yet, around 25 minutes. Ran around the Birds Nest Olympic Village in Beijing with Rob. GPS didn't work till 1/4 mile in, but foot pod recorded that part.

One of the hardest hikes ive ever done. But it was one of the most amazing things I have ever done and seen also. :) did it in Blue Jeans. :( I should have taken my heart rate monitor. I bet my heart was off the charts from climbing and running.

Today was a beautiful run along side of this
small lake. It was also the first time I have ran 6 miles without
stopping. :)
Allen, Jeff and Rob all ran today with me. Allen did great for his first
mile and hung with me, he still managed to get in about 3 miles. :)

Thought I would try running again in the hopes that my right knee was healed. Well after about a mile into the run it started to hurt every time my right leg would impact the ground. This same thing happened to my left knee about 2 months ago. I let it heal for about a week and wore a knee brace when I would run for about 2 weeks and it finally went away. I haven't had any issues with the left knee since. I'm hoping the same thing goes for the left one. Maybe all that my knee's is just a nice break in to get used to all this running and then I won't have anymore issues? :( With that being said, I was hoping to run 6 miles again today but as soon as my knee acted up I knew that wasn't going to happen. So it ended up being a run/walk morning. We decided to start at a different point on the Jordan Parkway trail today. We started at 4800 s. and ran south to 5400 s. and then turned back. I have to say it is the prettiest part of the trail so far. There was a wildlife preserve the first half of the trail that was breath taking. Their Pelican's, ducks and much more wildlife enjoying the nice brisk morning. I will for sure run that path again.

Woke up this morning with getting 3 miles in mind. Looked outside and saw that it was wet but not raining. I put on my running gear opened up my door and it was snowing. Boooo. Well as everyone knows the rain and snow was on and off all day so that kept pushing it off. Also had to go to the dentist @ 11am to get a filling redone "I like have a numb mouth" haha. Then met up with Rob for lunch at my favorite Thai place. Well the wife got home at 5 and she decided to run on the treadmill cause of the weather and I took a chance and ran outside. I made it 1.5 miles strong and then I could feel my heart rate really picking up. It was a run/walk from there on, I really need to get rid of this cold. I managed to get 2.9 miles in 27.07 min. not my best, but not bad for the amount of walking I did.

Probably played my best round of golf ever. I hit a 33 on a 27 par 3 course. I had 1 Birdie and only 1 Double. I was planning on running after, but my knee was really feeling it after golf. But hey at least I got out. :)

I'm going to blame my slow times on this dang sinus cold that I cannot get rid of. I still felt my knee a little bit, but didn't stop because of it. I found myself stopping because my legs felt weak and my heart rate kept climbing above 185bmp. That's where it was when I first started running and was out of shape. :( It was still beautiful outside and I really like this part of the parkway because of the scenery. There was a tailwind at first and then head wind on the way back!
